Exclusive property located in 'historic' building next door to Edinburgh Castle goes up for sale

An amazing maisonette located within a "historic" building next door to Edinburgh Castle has gone up for sale.

The Ramsay Garden property, which looks out on to the world famous castle and Princes Street Gardens, is on the market at offers over £775,000 – so you'll need a quid or few.

The place has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a "magnificent" lounge and a formal, wood-panelled dining room. The quite incredible surroundings can be enjoyed through large bay windows.

As it's in the Old Town, it's technically located in a unesco World Heritage Site – and not everybody lives in one of those.

Many Edinburgh folk will know how prominent these buildings are on the city's skyline – and while their striking exterior can be seen from across the city, the interior is equally as impressive.

Belvoir, who are marketing the place,  describe it as a"beautifully appointed main door property forming part of an historic building next to Edinburgh Castle".

You can check the place out in our gallery at the top of this article.
