Former Tottenham Hotspur star Paul Gascoigne believes his old team will not be able to compete for the Premier League title this season.
Spurs were in the mix with both Manchester City and Liverpool last term until the turn of the year when the top two pulled away.
Mauricio Pochettino's men ended up finishing fourth in the Premier League after a poor finish to the campaign.
Whilst Gascoigne feels that Spurs will be able to pull off a top-four repeat, he cannot see past Man City winning their third league title in succession under Pep Guardiola.
Gascoigne told football.london: "I have seen the players in Spurs academy and they have some unbelievable players coming through. But the big question is going to be what happens if Harry Kane gets injured? Who is going to replace him?
"Man City have got players to replace every position on the field. Tottenham don't. Mauricio Pochettino needs to buy again in the next window and get a couple of players in.
"Liverpool are looking strong as well but I cannot see anyone stopping Man City. They are just going to keep on buying and it's quite scary.
"I think it will be Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United. I think Arsenal are playing good football as well."
Gascoigne was speaking to football.london to promote Premier Sports' coverage of the Serie A.
Premier Sports will screen up to six live Serie A matches each week including Juventus v Napoli and Lazio v Roma this weekend. See premiersports.com for details of a Special Serie A offer.
