Exclusive! Our address got leaked on Bigg Boss, that can be risky: Sreejita De's fiancé Michael

Bigg Boss 16 has seen it all - fun situations, arguments over trivial things and even big fights. Recently there has been a different kind of problem. In one of the episodes, Sreejita De's home address was accidentally leaked during a conversation between contestants Tina Datta and Vikas Manaktala. This has left Sreejita's fiancé Michael Blohm-Pape fuming. He took to social media and wrote, "Shocked to see addresses of #BiggBoss16 HMs leaked out on National TV.. If cursing can be beeped, then why aren't safety & privacy important enough!? #SreejitaDe won't be happy with this, bcoz we surely don't want the whole world to know where we live!!" (sic).

Speaking exclusively with BT about this, Michael said, "The information that was leaked is what appeared to be a casual discussion between two housemates and I don’t see any negative intent from their end. However, I feel such sensitive information like the building name should have been beeped out. During a fight, when abusive language is used by people, they edit it out or add a beep. They should have done that here too because personal information should not be given out like this."

Sreejita and Michael, who's from Germany, have been in a relationship for a few years; they got engaged last December when Michael proposed to the actress in Paris at the Eiffel Tower. The couple is currently residing in Mumbai. Michael says, "The point here is that Bigg Boss is quite a controversial show. It’s amazing to see the excitement among viewers and how fans support their favourite contestants. Unfortunately there are also a few people who overdo their support by sending hundreds of insults and threats on social media. Hence I feel a contestant's personal information should be protected."

When Michael posted his thoughts on social media, many felt that he was overreacting. But he says, "Maybe I am overreacting, but why take a risk? It only requires one person to use this information in the wrong way."
