Exclusive: Mom of top scoring twins in CBSE class 12 exam shares success tips

Twins Anushka Vora and Astha Vora from the national capital region Gurugram have broken their own record. Anushka and Astha have secured 98% and 97.4%, respectively in class 12 board exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The girls had secured above 98% in class 10 board exams.

Speaking to ETimes-TOI, an elated mother Avani Vora said, "they have not taken any tuitions for CBSE Grade 12." The sisters studied under the guidance of Suncity School teachers and their parents, Dr Amish Vora, Oncologist and mother Avani Vora, a chemical Engineer.

For the CBSE Class 12 exam, the twins focused on self study for which they dedicated around 3-4 hours daily. The girls had appeared for the class 12 exam in four main subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, English.

"Twins would play for an hour each day, be it soccer, some Zumba at home or Basket Ball in the condominium," Avani said. "The twins meticulously planned their schedules to efficiently manage their studies, homework, and projects, always providing mutual support during challenging times. They also made time for recreational activities, spending an hour each day playing soccer, practicing Zumba at home, or engaging in basketball at their condominium. Leveraging social media, they joined various groups to enhance their understanding of subjects. They attribute their success to the combination of discipline, consistency, and hard work instilled in them, emphasizing the importance of self-study over tuition," the mom added.
