A lavish new members only cocktail club has just opened in Newcastle and is already generating a lot of buzz on social media.
Owned by The Gainford Group, who are also responsible for popular city-centre hotspots Aveika. Livello and The Maven, Atomic Blonde opened on Newcastle Quayside at the weekend, with people excitedly sharing their exclusive invites on Instagram in the run-up to the big launch.
Located within The Vermont Aparthotel, next door to Aveika, Atomic Blonde, which shares it name with the hit 2017 Charlize Theron film, is for over-25s and only accessible to members and aparthotel guests.
The music policy celebrates all the best of yesteryear with 70s, 80s and 90s classics on rotation and members can enjoy the tunes while sipping on a selection of 15 different cocktails, all designed by Atomic Blonde's host Cindy.
The bar also boasts its own outdoor terrace and is available for private hire.
Owner Imran Khaliq told ChronicleLive "Atomic Blonde is all about creating a space for entrepreneurs and business leaders to unite and hangout, blurring the lines between a working space and social hangout.
"The only way to access the club is through an online process through our website. Atomic Blonde offers a a radical new approach to cocktails not seen before in Newcastle along with spirits, wines and champagnes from around the world.
"The Atomic Blonde is designed for the hardworking individual that wants to experience the city centre without the hustle-and-bustle of busy and loud environment."
