Krishna Mukherjee, who is currently seen in the show Shubh Shagun, is gearing up for her special day. She is set to get engaged to her beau on September 8 and is currently busy with the preparations. Speaking exclusively to BT, she said, “We met through mutual friends in December last year and clicked instantly. He is not a part of this industry; he is in the Merchant Navy. I met him for the first time when he was in his uniform and was immediately attracted to him. He isn’t used to my profession, so I am not sharing his name because he is a private person.”
Further talking about the bond they share and what she likes best about him, Krishna shared, “I have never found a person who has loved me so much, he cares for me and does little things that I really adore. He makes me feel very special with his small gestures and I just knew in my heart that he was the one for me. It was the same for him, too, which is why we decided to take things ahead and get engaged. I am very happy and excited. But we don’t plan to get married this year, we will tie the knot in 2023.”
Meanwhile, preparations for the engagement are on in full swing. Krishna said, “It is difficult to do all this while shooting for a show. But my sister is helping me with everything. She goes to places and calls us from there after which we finalise things. I have taken five days off from shooting for my engagement. But next year when I get married, I don’t want to be working. I want to spend time with him because those days are precious and they won’t come back.”
