The House Republicans' campaign arm brought in $24.3 million in the last quarter of 2025, ending the year with $117.2 million raised, Axios has learned.
Why it matters: The National Republican Congressional Campaign Committee's (NRCC) fundraising haul surpasses every recent off-year except for 2021, when Democrats had full control of Washington.
- The NRCC raised $13.7 million in December alone, and ended the year with $50.7 million cash on hand.
State of play: The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has not released their fourth quarter haul.
- They out-raised the NRCC $26.2 million to $24 million in the third quarter. But the GOP raised $14 million to Democrats' $11.5 million in September.
- In October, the NRCC had its first six-figure edge in year-to-date fundraising over the Democrats in an off-year since 2015.
- Year-end fundraising reports, covering Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, will show which party was best able to capitalize on the record-breaking government shutdown.
What they're saying: "House Republicans are entering 2026 with undeniable momentum and smashing fundraising records," NRCC chairman Richard Hudson (R-N.C.) said in a statement to Axios.
- "While Democrats are sinking under the weight of their own failures, the NRCC is building the resources to grow our majority and win in November, and we're not letting our foot off the gas," he continued.
- "No amount of money can rescue this hopeless, directionless, and extreme House Republican majority," DCCC spokesperson Justin Chermol told Axios.
