EXCLUSIVE: Former Rangers midfielder Kyle Hutton set for fifth tier East Kilbride move

Ex-Rangers midfielder Kyle Hutton is set to become the latest signing coup for Lowland League outfit East Kilbride.

It was exclusively revealed in June that Kilby had launched an ambitious bid to lure the 29-year-old to the fifth tier of Scottish football.

Following the end of his contract with League One side Dumbarton, Lanarkshire Live Sport can confirm that the former Airdrie, Partick Thistle and St Mirren man will be unveiled at the K-Park next week.

Hutton was at Dumbarton last term (SNS Group)

EK boss Stevie Aitken brought Hutton to Dumbarton in 2017 and will officially reunite with the star in the coming days.

Hutton will join big names including Chris Erskine and Paul Paton who have already agreed a summer switch to the Lanarkshire club.
