Special event to give Everton fans first glimpse of new Bramley-Moore dock stadium designs

Everton are set to release designs for their proposed new Bramley-Moore dock stadium at a special event for a select group of supporters.

The club will be hosting a fan event to launch the second stage of public consultation on July 25, a day before the latest images of the ground are to be released to the general public.

Stadium architect Dan Meis will be in attendance at the special event taking place at the Titanic Hotel and he will provide the audience with an update on the project and the reasons behind his design aspects.

At the same time as the stadium is revealed at the event, the images will be published online for all Everton fans to see.

Invitations for the event have been distributed to every Evertonian who registered for and attended fan workshops hosted by Meis at St Luke's church in the spring of 2018.

Attendees will also discover the legacy plans for Goodison Park as part of The People's Project.

A day following the event, the second stage of public consultation will get underway and is set to run until August 25.

Everton will be looking to replicate the success of the first stage of this process in November 2018, and again will be looking the views of all members of the public.

Again the plans will be taken on a roadshow across the city, with full details including exact locations set to be confirmed in the coming days.

The club will then set their sights on official planning application, which will be submitted before the end of the year on the new stadium at Bramley-Moore dock.

That application will coincide with the Blues submitting their plans for the legacy project at Goodison Park to create new community assets building on the life-changing and life-saving work of Everton in the Community.
