Nimrit Ahluwalia, who is currently seen in the role of Meher in Choti Sardarni, shared her Diwali plans. The actress is excited to join her family in Delhi.
The actress gave a glimpse of wrapping up working and flying to Delhi on social media. Speaking to ETimes TV, Nimrit shared what Diwali means to her, what are her plans this year and more.
Nimrit said, “For me Diwali is like the beginning of something new, something you look forward to in your personal or professional life. So it's like a fresh start and it reinstates faith in the goodness that exists in the world.”
Speaking about her Diwali plans, Nimrit shared, “I am looking forward to Diwali as I am going to celebrate it with my family. And on November 3 (today) it's my dog Noah's birthday. So the choti diwali and dog's birthday would be a double celebration. My house is in Delhi, where my parents stay and my brother stays out of the country so we make sure that on Diwali we all get together and make the most of it.”
Being an actress, Nimrit gives her diet a miss to enjoy all the festive delicacies. Recalling her favourite delicacies, Nimrit said, “I love mithais. And my favourite mithai is Gujia so I wait for Holi. But on Diwali I make sure to binge on motichoor ke laddoo.”
