Exclusive – Bigg Boss OTT: Bhojpuri star Akshara Singh to enter Karan Johar’s show

The upcoming edition of Bigg Boss is all set to be launched. However, unlike the previous editions, this season of the controversial reality show will first stream on an OTT platform for around six weeks before it moves to the GEC. While the resident host, Salman Khan, will be seen on the weekends as is the case every year, filmmaker Karan Johar will host the OTT version. As reported by us, several names from the television, film, and music industries, including Neha Bhasin, Raqesh Bapat, Divya Agarwal, Ridhima Pandit, and Neha Marda have agreed to be locked up inside the house. The latest name that has joined the list is Bhojpuri actress-singer Akshara Singh.

A popular name in the Bhojpuri film industry and one of the highest-paid actresses, Akshara has featured in films like Satya, Tabadala, Dhadkan, Sarkar Raj, and Maa Tujhe Salaam. She has also been a part of Hindi TV shows Kaala Teeka, Porus and Service Wali Bahu.

The actress was in news for opening up about her split from Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh. They were one of the most popular jodis both on-screen and off-screen. However, their relationship ended after Pawan tied the knot. While they remain tight-lipped about their relationship and split, Akshara finally broke her silence and spoke about her affair with superstar Pawan in 2019. She had reportedly said that her relationship with him was a bonded one because the actor made her sign a relationship agreement. She said that it was a contractual relationship.

The show’s theme is ‘Stay Connected’ and the contestants participating in the show will have some kind of connection with the person they will be entering the house with. Staying true to the theme of the show, the makers are in talks with popular jodi Sidnaaz for the show to enter as special guests.
