An exciting new bar is opening in Leeds city centre.

La Bodega will offer craft bottled beer, wines and spirits and classic tapas snacks and will open on Friday, October 15 in the cellar below Ibérica.

Key favourites on the menu to nibble on will be croquettes with serrano ham, manchego, which is the iconic sheep cheese from the region of Castilla La Mancha, and a traditional Spanish tortilla which will be made from potato and onion, and Cackleberry Farm eggs.

The team behind the new bar hope it might be a great place visit after a long day at work in Leeds city centre.

Spokesperson Nacho Ordiz said: “Leeds has an energy like my hometown of Oviedo in Asturias, a city back in Spain, although we thought it was missing one key ingredient – a great Spanish wine bar.
