Excited first arrivals at Grand National Saturday at Aintree racecourse

There's been lots of wonderful fashion on display at this year's Grand National festival and the final day will be no exception.

Thousands of people will be at Aintree today for the world's greatest steeplechase, and thankfully the sun is finally shining.

The gates opened at 10am this morning and there were some stylish first arrivals through the doors.

From The best dressed couples spotted on Ladies Day at Aintree there was a variety of different outfits on show.

What about the racing?

The going for the third and final day of the 2019 Grand National Festival is Good to Soft - Soft at the Canal Turn.

Andrew Tulloch, Clerk of the Course at Aintree, said: "It has just dried out since yesterday. We have a dry night.

"We have watered all of the landings on the Grand National course.

"The Grand National Course is Good to Soft, Soft at the Canal Turn. The mildmay and hurdle courses are Good to Soft, Good in places.

"It is forecast to be a dry day with temperatures of up to 13C, some sunny spells and not much of a breeze.

"The ground may just quietly dry out, especially towards the Grand National, as it is due off at 5:15pm.

"I am looking forward to a great day."

All bends and hurdles have been moved in a minimum of four yards to provide fresh ground. Here's the running order for the day.
