Examining the 3 toughest games on the Philadelphia Eagles schedule

The Philadelphia Eagles have a favorable 2020 NFL schedule, but it is not the most daunting.

The defending NFC East champions won’t have an easy road back to the playoffs, as the Eagles will match up against several postseason contenders this year, with a three-game stretch from hell late in the year.

Even with some high-profile matchups, they’ll play some really tough games, but no task bigger than these 3 opponents.

In a game that will give the Eagles an early barometer of just how good they are, they’ll travel to San Francisco to face the 49ers on Sunday night football. The Eagles will fly across the country and face a team coming off 13 wins and a lead in the Super Bowl.

The 49ers will counter with Nick Bosa and one of the best defenses in the league. The Niners have a juggernaut for an offense with Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, and George Kittle while giving up the second-fewest yards on defense.
