Exactly what Victoria Beckham eats in a day

It’s no secret that Victoria Beckham has a meticulous diet.

The 51-year-old has been outspoken about her discipline when it comes to eating and exercising. "I am very strict,” she told Gwyneth Paltrow on the Goop podcast.

“For me, being healthy and strict about the way I eat and work out is what I have to do."

Her husband, David Beckham, has spoken about her militant dining choices, too.

"Unfortunately I'm married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years," he joked on the River Café Table 4 podcast. "Since I met her she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables. She will very rarely deviate from that."

So what exactly does Victoria Beckham eat?

Fresh fish, vegetables and a few glasses of red

In an interview with Net-A-Porter, Beckham delved into her daily eating habits. "I'm flexible with regards to food, as David and I are very sociable, and we like to eat out,” she said.

"But when I do eat well, I see the difference in my skin – my eyes are whiter and sparklier and I have so much more energy."

She added: "I eat lots of fresh fish, fresh vegetables and salads, as well as seeds and nuts. I also love fruit but don't eat too much, as it can make me feel quite bloated."

“My treat is a few glasses of red wine, and I also love tequila, and I do eat carbs. I have lots of avocados and really good fats, like salmon. With four children and a job, I work long hours and doing this works for me so I can give 100 per cent."

Beckham has also spoken about her dietary decisions on River Café's Table 4 podcast. "I'm a very fussy eater and I like things to be cooked in a very simple way. I don't like oils or butter or sauces,” she said.

Breakfast

Posh Spice’s first drink of the day is not tea or coffee. It’s vinegar.

"Each morning, the first thing I do is have three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, followed by a mug of hot water and lemon and multiple coffees," she told Net-A-Porter.

She’s also reported to like smoothies, such as an apple, kiwi, lemon, spinach, broccoli and chia seed blend.

Beckham has also shared multiple photos of the cereal Ezekiel 4:9 Original sprouted grain cereal on Instagram. It’s made with wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet and spelt.

She said it was "perfect with organic unsweetened almond milk", and shared an image of the cereal with a plate of raspberries and blackberries. She wrote: "Yes! The kids do like it too!! x"

Lunch

There’s a good chance that Beckham will be eating avocados at lunch. In 2019, she told The Telegraph that she "eats three or four avocados a day", which she says keeps her skin healthy.

The fashion designer has previously shared photos of her lunch on Instagram, including a “life-changing” tequila and lime-cooked jumbo prawns.

In one 2021 Instagram story, she compared her healthy lunch (salmon and avocado) to her son, Romeo’s pizza.

Dinner

It’s no surprise that Beckham enjoys a healthy dinner, too. In 2020, she shared an Instagram story of “spicy prawn courgetti”, featuring brightly coloured, finely chopped vegetables.

Snacks

Posh Spice doesn’t like any ordinary snack. "I like wholegrain toast with salt on it. It’s that carby thing, isn't it? It's that carbohydrate that makes you feel comforted and I love salt,” she said on River Café’s Table 4 podcast.

"I'm a savoury person as opposed to a sweet person," she added.

Beckham revealed that she enjoys mixed seeds soaked in organic Aminos, a gluten-free soy sauce replacement.

She shared a photo of the snack on Instagram, writing: "Seeds doused in organic Aminos! Grilled until crispy! After school snack! Good for mummy too!"
