Ireland's politicians are currently convulsed by a controversy that exploded in the face of Tánaiste Leo Varadkar at the weekend.
Mr Varadkar has been at the centre of a political firestorm since details emerged at the weekend about the alleged leak of a sensitive document on a pay deal for GPs.
While Taoiseach Micheál Martin has (so far) stood by the embattled Tánaiste, opposition parties have rounded on Mr Varadkar over the details of a story that broke in Village Magazine
And the Tánaiste is due to address the controversy in the Dáil today – as well as facing a grilling from opposition parties eager to press the Tánaiste on every aspect of the affair.

It certainly won’t be boring.
Here’s how you can watch the action as it unfolds.
When does it take place?
Mr Varadkar will address the Dáil at 4.09pm today, with a statement that’s expected to take around 20 minutes.
There will then be two rounds of questions and answers for all opposition parties and groups, which will take around 10 minutes each.
Mr Varadkar will be put out of his misery at 5.39pm, after a 90-minute session.

Where can I watch it?
You can watch the Tánaiste’s address on Oireachtas TV, which is available online – just stick Oireachtas TV into Google or go to https://www.oireachtas.ie/en/oireachtas-tv/oireachtas-tv-channel/
Alternatively, if you’d rather stick it on the box, Oireachtas TV is available to homes across Ireland on Saorview channel 22 or Virgin Media channel 207.
What do we expect the Tánaiste to say?
On Saturday, Mr Varadkar issued a lengthy statement that called the Village Magazine article “inaccurate and grossly defamatory”.
He admitted that his decision to courier the document on GP pay to the house of Dr Maitiú Ó Tuathail – a personal friend as well as the president of the now-defunct National Association of General Practitioners (NAGP) – was “not best practice”.
But Mr Varadkar has argued that he did not act unlawfully, insisting he passed on the document in a bid to secure wider backing among doctors for the new contract.
It’s expected that he’ll tell the Dáil something broadly similar today.
What might he be asked by opposition TDs?
Opposition parties have been baying for blood in recent days, asking questions about the legality of Mr Varadkar's actions as well as pillorying him for the manner in which he shared – or leaked, depending on you ask – the GP pay document.

Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald has already called on the Government to hand over all correspondence surrounding the event – including WhatsApp and text messages.
And Rise TD Paul Murphy has lodged a complaint to the State's ethic watchdog, which argues that none of Mr Varadkar's defence "stands up to any degree of scrutiny."
