Exact time you can see Starlink satellites fly over the UK tonight

You could see the Starlink satellites as they pass over Merseyside tonight but you'll need to stay up late.

Sixty further satellites have been launched by Elon Musk's company as part of his fleet.

Musk hopes the satellites will bring low-cost internet to remote areas on Earth.

Starlink explained: “With performance that far surpasses that of traditional satellite internet, and a global network unbounded by ground infrastructure limitations.

"Starlink will deliver high speed broadband internet to locations where access has been unreliable, expensive, or completely unavailable."

Here's what time you'll see the satellites tonight, along with some helpful tips and tricks.

What time can you see the Starlink satellites tonight?

At around 11.46pm tonight Starlink satellites will fly over the region from southwest to east.

Their visibility varies depending on how close they are to the Earth and light pollution.

Tonight the satellites should be easy to see due to bright visibility.

What do they look like?

Some of the satellites may appear like a slow moving star going in a straight line.

The satellites won't "twinkle" like a star but they may appear and disappear depending on cloud cover and atmospheric conditions.

Almost all of the satellites will be travelling in the same direction, with a similar trajectory to previous days.
