Exact location of today's 675 new Covid-19 cases in Ireland as six counties see promising trends

A number of counties saw promising trends in the latest Covid-19 case figures released today.

It emerged this evening that a total of 675 more people have tested positive for coronavirus in Ireland, while six further deaths have been confirmed.

It brings the number of infections here to 59,434 since the pandemic began.

Yesterday, just two counties (Roscommon and Leitrim) reported less than five new cases, but today five separate regions have done so: Roscommon, Leitrim, Mayo, Wexford and Waterford.
