Exact location of today's 301 new Covid-19 cases in Ireland as three counties report ZERO

Three counties reported zero new cases as some signs of optimism are starting to emerge in Ireland's battle with Covid-19.

A total of 301 new cases were reported across the country this evening.

It brings the number of infections here to 74,246 since the outbreak began.

The latest figures were announced by the Department of Health today.

Of today's cases, 119 were reported in Dublin, 32 in Donegal, 16 in Cork, 13 in Kildare, 13 in Kilkenny and the remaining 108 cases are spread across 18 other counties.

However there was some good news, as three different counties reported zero new infections.

Sligo, Westmeath and Laois all saw no increase in cases in the latest figures.
