Scotland is set to be hit by heavy snowfall next week, according to the latest weather forecast.
Experts at WXCharts anticipate a band of wintry showers to engulf much of the Highlands during the early part of the morning of Saturday, November 20.
The snow is expected to become heavier across the west coast of the country, with the white stuff potentially falling in south west Scotland.
Parts of the north are set to see the snowfall continue throughout the evening, with north western areas being hit the most by the adverse conditions.

Temperatures are also expected to dip to well below freezing over that weekend, with lows of -6C forecast on the following Sunday.
A long range weather forecast from the Met Office said that there will be a period of milder temperatures before a string of ‘colder interludes’ kicks in up until November 21.
It reads: “Temperatures are expected to remain around average throughout this period, although milder interludes may be prevalent at first, and colder interludes increasingly possible later, where some wintry conditions are possible over higher ground in the north, with a slight risk at lower levels.”
Scots have only just recovered from a period of bad weather, after much of the country was battered by gale force winds and heavy showers over the weekend.

Gusts of up to 70mph an hour rocked northern Scotland while a string of flood alerts were issued across the country.
And there could be more of the same on the way this week as the Tropical Storm Wanda heads into the UK.
The US National Hurricane Centre shows the remnants of the storm heading this way with sustained winds and rain forecast to arrive in the UK on Tuesday.
Met Office experts said that this could lead to more weather warnings - although the timing and track of the system is still uncertain.
North western parts of the UK are most likely to be hit with heavy rainfall.
