Exact date confirmed for over one million to receive €200 cost-of-living payment

More than one million people are in line for a cost-of-living payment on April 24 amid the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

Those in line for the payment include pensioners, carers, people with disabilities, lone parents, widows and widowers.

Parents can expect a €100 boost to their child benefit payment in June, which will likely be issued on June 2 due to the bank holiday.

This payment forms part of a social protection package organised by the Government.
