Now that the line-drying days of 2022 are well and truly over, shoppers are desperate to get their hands on an Aldi Specialbuy that dries their clothes without the need for a tumble drier. The Easy Home heated airer costs around 8p an hour to run, and is set to save shoppers cash as energy prices rise.
It quickly sold out earlier this year in February, and a fortnight ago, more stock quietly dropped on the Aldi website, but was once again sold out in 24 hours .
But Aldi have confirmed to the Manchester Evening News the EXACT date of its return, so be ready to set those alarm clocks.

The affordable heated airer costs £39.99, and is one of the cheapest available to buy online. Costing under 8p an hour to run, it's far cheaper than the average tumble drier, which cost upwards of 30p an hour to run.
A spokesperson for Aldi told the M.E.N: “Aldi’s Heated airer will be available to pre-order online from October 2 and in stores from October 9.”
Previously an online exclusive, shoppers should be able to get their hands on the heated airer in store in as little as two weeks, but the safest bet will be to order online to secure the coveted Specialbuy .
Ideal for rainy days and the colder months when the washing line is out of action, the airer has 20 bars on which to hang anything from clothes to towels and bedding. The 230W device can be folded away for easy storage between uses, and has racked up more than 500 five star reviews .
Many have said it saves even more money, because as well as not needing to use the tumble dryer as much, they needn’t use the iron as often, either!
Aldi shopper Julie said: “I've had this plug in airer for about three months, this airer has been amazing! Lots of drying space. It heats up quickly and has my clothes dried quickly, also leaving no creases. Great for rainy days or if you do not have a washing line.”
Annie S added: “Very effective, clothes dry quickly and it cuts down on the amount of ironing needed. Folds flat so easy to store.”
And Mrs T commented: “I am using the tumble dryer less because this airer is a good size and the heat combined with the cover dries small items very fast, and larger items may take a little longer, but much faster than my usual airer.
“It folds flat when not in use so is easy to store, even though mine is always in use! It helps to heat the room too. Excellent value too when compared with similar items, with a three year guarantee offered.”
