Former Westlife star Brian McFadden has waded into the debate about the UK's political turmoil... saying Donald Trump is "exactly what Britain needs".
The Irish singer, who lives in the UK, said the country is "literally f***ed" with "borris" and "Jeremy" being leading candidates to be the next Prime Minister.
Mr McFadden added he was incredulous at how many Brits oppose US president Mr Trump, with hundreds of thousands expected to protest against his state visit next month.
He wrote in a tweet: "The fact that borris, farage and Jeremy are the front runners to be prime minister is scary! Britain is f***ed!!! Literally f**ed!"
He added: "Incredible how many brits jump on the anti trump bandwagon. He's exactly what Britain needs!
"A Britain first at all costs attitude is essential."
Some of Mr McFadden's followers were confused with his statement, with one replying: "This tweet couldn't be less coherent if it tried."
Others said that they agreed with the first half of McFadden's statement, but not the second half concerning Mr Trump.
"Tweet was going well till you mentioned Trump," one wrote.
