Ex-Tranmere Rovers star is Motherwell's third summer signing

Former Tranmere Rovers winger Kaiyne Woolery has signed a three-year deal at Motherwell.

Woolery, 26, becomes the club's third summer capture, following Justin Amaluzor and Connor Shields as the Fir Park club rebuilds for the coming season.

The move is subject to international clearance, but delighted boss Graham Alexander told the club's website: "Kaiyne is a player I’ve admired for a few years now.

"He’s always caused my teams problems with his pace and goal threat. I’m very happy to bring him to Motherwell.

"I believe his best years are ahead of him and we all look forward to working with him. I know he will help us improve our attacking threat."

Woolery scored 11 goals in 52 games last season in Tranmere's League Two play-off finish.

He has had previous spells at Swindon Town and Wigan Athletic, and has spent time out on loan with Forest Green Rovers, Notts County and Tamworth.
