Ex-Thunder forward Perry Jones reportedly signed a deal to play overseas

It’s been a while since Perry Jones played for the Oklahoma City Thunder — which is still the only team he has played for in the NBA. The 28th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft out of Baylor has not been in the league since the 2014-15 season. After that season, he played in the D-League for two seasons before it became the G League, which he played in for a year, as well.

This summer, Jones was part of the BIG3’s Enemies. And it looks like forward is going to continue playing, though he will need to leave the United States to do so.

Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports is reporting the forward has signed a deal to play in Turkey next year. Jones will play for Bursaspor in Turkey’s top basketball league, Basketbol Süper Ligi (Basketball Super League).

Jones last played overseas in 2016-17 for Khimki in the VTB United League, which is primarily based in Russia.
