Ex-Spurs striker on the Dani Ceballos dilemma that Arsenal have on their hands

Arsenal have a new magician in the form of Dani Ceballos, a Spaniard who is pulling the strings in the same was as Santi Cazorla and Cesc Fabregas have done previously.

A Man of the Match performance from the Real Madrid loanee helped Unai Emery's side get across the line with a 2-1 victory over Burnley, maintaining their 100% record to the 2019/20 season.

Bigger challenges are on the horizon, with a trip to Anfield to face Liverpool this weekend followed by the first North London Derby of the season, which will be a stern test of Ceballos' strengths.

However, former Tottenham striker Darren Bent, who is actually an Arsenal fan, believes the Gunners have 'stumbled upon a gem' - but added that could lead to problems.

"He completely ran the game, he played well – not only did he look like he can put a tackle in but he’s got great distribution on the ball," he told Football Insider .

“He has high energy, creative, good range of passing. Listen, Arsenal might have just stumbled upon a gem there. The only disappointing thing is Arsenal don’t have him permanently.

“If he keeps performing like that, it will not just be Arsenal in for him.”
