Ex-Spurs star explains why Arsenal will finish below Tottenham & Man United in top four race

Arsenal are in the driving seat for Champions League qualification in third place in the Premier League following their win over Newcastle, but Jermaine Jenas believes they will miss out at the end of the season.

The Gunners lie two points clear of Spurs and Manchester United and three ahead of Chelsea who are in sixth place.

Unai Emery's recorded their 10th consecutive home win on Monday but their away form has been less fruitful with just five victories on the road all season. That will cost the Gunners according to Jenas, due to the difficulty of their remaining fixtures.

Arsenal supporters loved what Alexandre Lacazette did after clinching victory against Newcastle

He said: "Tonight [Monday], they were celebrating that it was ten consecutive wins at home.

"Away from home, it hasn’t been the same. Five wins away all season.

"They’ve got seven games left and five of those are away from home.

"It’s as tough as it gets away from home, in terms of the places you’re going to and what they are fighting for.

Aaron Ramsey's glorious farewell, no sign of north London power shift - Arsenal talking points

"Burnley are going to be fighting all the way, Palace are still going to need wins. Watford would have gone past their FA Cup semi-final and will be right at it.

"It’s going to be tough for everyone but that’s why I think it will be Spurs and Man Utd in the top four."
