Match of the Day pundits Ian Wright and Danny Murphy were less than impressed with Arsenal's display at Anfield on Saturday.
The Gunners do not have a good record against the Reds and that poor form continued on Saturday as they made it no wins in nine Prmeier League games against their bogey team.
It ended 3-1 at Anfield, with Mohamed Salah bagging two of the goals.
Former Arsenal star Wright did not like the way Unai Emery set the team up.
He said: "I was very surprised by them playing a diamond, giving up space for two of the best full-backs in Europe. It was a strange one and I wanted to see the three guys playing up top, which didn’t happen.
"If you give them this kind of space, you’ve got problems."
And Murphy did not hold back in his assessment of the match.
He went on to say: "It looked like a system they hadn’t worked on.”
"Any team that comes to Anfield with a tactical plan, Liverpool generally find a way to suppress it. It’s not rocket science, it’s togetherness, it’s energy. Arsenal have been murdered at Anfield a couple of times in recent years and they haven’t learnt their lesson.
"Each season they turn up there the same thing has happened. Forget the diamond, forget three at the back, five at the back, it doesn’t matter. If you press a team like Liverpool do, they win the ball back, and they play right into Liverpool’s hands.
"I don’t know when they’re going to learn."
