Ex-Rangers youth player suffers horror injury in Clyde draw

Tom Lang suffered a horrific head injury in Clyde's 2-2 draw with Montrose yesterday.

The former Rangers youth player sustained the massive cut to his head in the closing stages of the League One clash.

Clyde boss Danny Lennon praised Lang for putting his body on the line to avert danger and thankfully, Lang is in good spirits after he was forced to leave the action in the 88th minute.

Clyde also tweeted out to say that the player was okay and had received treatment for the gash.

Lang has also enjoyed modelling work in the past (DAILY RECORD)

It was an important point for Clyde as it seen them move above Forfar and off the bottom of the League One table ahead of three tough away games this week.

The Bully Wee face two long away journeys to face East Fife, on Tuesday, and Peterhead, on Thursday, before travelling to face Ayr United in the Scottish Cup on Saturday.
