The centre-back yesterday completed a loan move to the club from Atalanta, which Rangers will be able to make permanent for £3.8million should they wish.
Cantwell was once again quick to show his delight, responding to a social media post from Godfrey saying simply: "WATP."
The new signing had written: What a feeling joining @rangersfc on loan! It’s an honour to be able to represent this club.. Really looking forward to wearing the kit and meeting you all at Ibrox. Thank you to my family at @neweraglobalsports."
