Ex Rangers star Nacho Novo has paid an emotional tribute to his eleven year old son Javier - admitting that he is the reason he's still alive.
Nacho told his followers on Instagram that Javier was 'the love of my life' as he shared a series of photos and videos of them together enjoying the sunshine.
The two were filmed aboard a jet ski on what appeared to be Loch Lomond and Nacho wrote: " This is the reason why I’m still alive with the love of my life love u so much @javiernovo10."
Nacho also joked with his opal Alberto Lora that his son was 'taller than them both put together'.
Nacho, who had a heart attack in 2018 called his then seven-year-old son from the operating theatre as cardiologists were racing to keep him alive.
He was rushed to a Berlin hospital where he underwent emergency surgery following a friendly match with Ibrox legends there.
He then suffered a stroke just weeks later, leaving him paralysed and unable to speak for two days.
On Valentines day he referred to his son as 'my rock, my everything'.
