Ex-Rangers star Kenny Miller puts luxury £790k mansion up for sale

Footballer Kenny Miller is hoping to score on the property transfer market after putting his luxury mansion up for sale for almost £800,000.

The former Celtic and Rangers striker is selling the five-bedroom pad two years after moving in as he gets set to make his fourth house move in six years.

The former Scotland internationalist, who plays for Dundee, snapped up a plot of land overlooking the River Clyde near Larkhall, Lanarkshire, and had the property built there.

It has now been put on the market for offers over £790,000.

The ultra-modern house was home to Miller, 39, his wife Laura, 29, and their two young children.

It has a grand entrance hall, en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom, a surround sound system, underfloor heating, a cinema room and a games room.

It is also kitted out in lavish decor including marble flooring and stone worktops. There is a double garage and a large lawn where goalposts have been placed.

Two years ago, Miller sold a three-bedroom flat near Hamilton racecourse for £190,000 just over a year after moving in.

The apartment was only a temporary home for the player and was dubbed the “most understated footballer’s pad in the world” when it was put up for sale.

In 2016, Miller, who also played for Cardiff City, sold his mansion in Newton Mearns, Renfrewshire, for £875,000 three years after it was built.

Miller’s house moves previously led him to star in adverts for estate agent McEwan Fraser Legal.
