Ex-Rangers forward Abdallah Sima involved in '£30m' Brighton striker deal

Former Rangers forward Abdallah Sima is being used as a makeweight as Brighton and Hove Albion look to sign young Greek striker Charalampos Kostoulas.

The 17-year-old plies his trade for Olympiacos, with the English Premier League outfit 'pursuing' a deal for Kostoulas, claims The Athletic

It is said they have offered £30 million plus Sima, although Olympiacos are 'expected' to reject the bid because they reportedly want a sell-on clause included in any deal.

"It is very difficult to find the words but I would like to thank all the club staff, the staff, my teammates and especially you, the supporters, who have always been there for me and for the club. It's you who makes this club so special!

"Thank you also to Michael Beale for giving me the chance to play for this great club, and thank you to Philippe Clement for allowing me to realise my dream of winning a title with this magnificent club.

"Come on Rangers!"
