Former Rangers loanee Mikey Moore is reportedly a loan target for Middlesbrough.

According to reports, the Tottenham winger is being eyed by the Championship club over a season-long loan deal.

Moore had excelled at Rangers last season and joined Roberto De Zerbi's squad in pre-season to try and force his way into the first-team plans in North London.

The 18-year-old started against Auckland FC in a 2-0 win for Spurs but wasn't involved for the 1-1 draw against Sydney FC in pre-season.

Now, The Standard reports that Middlesbrough want to take Moore to the Riverside Stadium.

But, it's claimed Moore is holding out for a move to one of Europe's top five leagues.

Quizzed on whether Moore could be involved with the Spurs first-team in the upcoming Premier League season, De Zerbi said: "We have to see.

"We have to analyse the last part of the transfer market, because we try to bring wingers, and then we speak with him, with his agent, with the club, to find the best solution for everyone."

Moore played 47 times for Rangers last season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists during his time in Glasgow.
