Ayr United have signed former Rangers defender Leon King on a two-year deal.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at the Scottish Championship side from Rangers.

He made more than 30 appearances for the Honest Men and won the end-of-season awards for Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year.
This was enough to earn the defender a permanent two-year deal at Somerset Park, which will run until June 2028.

"Leon impressed during his loan spell last season from Rangers, where he made over 30 appearances for the Honest Men and won various end-of-season awards, including the Player of the Year and Player’s Player of the Year.

King made 42 appearances in all competitions for Rangers, making his debut under Steven Gerrard in a League Cup match against Falkirk.
Aside from his spell at Ayr, he also spent time on loan at Queen's Park last year.
