Billy Dodds reckons Bojan Miovski is the perfect fit for Rangers - and admits he and Barry Ferguson would have "had a nibble" if they had remained in charge.
Russell Martin landed the North Macedonian striker towards the end of the transfer window, one of two centre forward signings along with Yousef Chermiti from Everton. Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers both moved on, to Panathinaikos and Lille respectively.
Dodds, who was part of Ferguson's interim staff last season, feels the former Aberdeen signing is the ideal signing and an identikit Rangers player due to his mental characeristics married with his footballing ability.
He has even gone as far as to suggest he cannot fail at Ibrox.
“Miovski has got the right attitude for Rangers, along with everything else,” Dodds told the Daily Record.

Rangers starlet who made debut under Russell Martin leaves Ibrox on loan
“We would probably have had a nibble at him, but we never got the chance. His characteristics fit in perfectly at Rangers.
“Then, whether it’s workrate, technical ability, desire, attitude, chasing the ball, getting into goalscoring positions, holding the ball up, running in behind. They are all there.
“I don’t see how he can fail – as long as Rangers are playing well and he’s getting the supply. He’ll probably be thinking: ‘I could score a right few goals here’.
“I think he will be a really good signing.”
