However, former Rangers boss Danny Rohl, now at Red Bull Salzburg, has also been linked with a move for the Lithuania international.
Marca journalist Matteo Moretto reports that Salzburg are interested in the 22-year-old, potentially putting Rohl on a collision course with Celtic for the Torino man.
The former Rangers manager took charge of the Austrian side in June and is now being linked with a move for a player already on Celtic’s radar.
