Ex-Rams RB Zac Stacy is first 100-yard rusher in AAF history

There have been quite a few impressive performances by former Rams in the Alliance of American Football through two weeks. Last week, it was Luis Perez standing out in the Birmingham Iron’s win, and now it’s Zac Stacy showing off.

For the Memphis Express on Saturday, Stacy made AAF history by becoming the league’s first 100-yard rusher. He picked up 101 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown in the Express’ 20-18 loss.

Of those 101 yards, 50 came on one carry.

Stacy played two seasons for the Rams from 2013-14, totaling 1,266 yards on 326 carries. He had 973 yards and seven touchdowns as a rookie in 2013.

Still just 27 years old, Stacy could get another shot in the NFL if he continues to play well.
