- Former Premier League midfielder Lee Clark has been named the new manager of League One club Rotherham United until the end of the season.
- Clark replaces Lee Hamshaw, who was sacked following Rotherham’s 5-0 defeat by Peterborough on Tuesday night.
- Rotherham are currently six points from safety with nine games remaining, leaving Clark with an uphill task of saving them from relegation.
- Clark, who played for Newcastle, Sunderland and Fulham, has previously managed Birmingham City and Huddersfield Town, but has not been in the dugout since 2022.
- Clark was declared bankrupt last June over a due to a debt owed to a business finance firm.
