Ex-Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg reveals the football team he supports

Former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg has revealed he supports Newcastle United on a Twitter Q&A.

Clattenburg was a match official in the English top flight for 13 years before he left the UK in 2017 for a role with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation.

On February of this year Clattenburg announced that he had been hired by the Chinese Football Association to become a professional referee in China, meaning he is now set to leave the Middle East for the Far East.

It seems he has cut all ties with the Professional Game Match Officials Limited in England, and has therefore decided to reveal his football team.
