Ex-Notts County loanee Marc Bola linked with Championship move

Former Notts County defender Marc Bola could be on the move to the Championship, according to reports.

The Blackpool left-back, who spent time on loan at Meadow Lane in 2017, is reportedly attracting the interest of League One champions Luton Town.

The former Arsenal defender enjoyed a terrific campaign and has courted plenty of interest from other clubs.

And according to the Sun, Luton are not giving up on their pursuit of Bola who joined the Gunners aged just 13.

He was then set out on loan to Notts in January 2017  and helped play a part in the Magpies avoiding relegation from League Two.

He made 13 appearances for the Magpies as he gained some much-needed first-team football with his debut coming in a 2-0 defeat to Accrington Stanley.

Bola returned back to the Gunners and was subsequently sent out on loan to Bristol Rovers.

He was eventually released by Arsenal and was linked with a return to Notts, only for then Blackpool boss Gary Bowyer to snap him up on a free transfer last summer.

The 21-year-old has scored two goals and is highly regarded at Bloomfield Road where he made 35 appearances last term.
