Ex-Notts County defender raises a smile in coronavirus crisis with video impersonating a former manager

A former Notts County defender has been trying to lift the mood during the coronavirus outbreak by impersonating one of his former managers.

Carl Dickinson, who now plays for Yeovil, took to Twitter yesterday to entertain his followers with a video of his take of his former Stoke City boss Tony Pulis.

The left-back played more than 50 games for Notts, but also did the same at Stoke where he helped them win promotion to the Premier League in 2008.

Dickinson was a popular figure at Meadow Lane and amid a world gripped by fear due to the outbreak of coronavirus, he hoped his comedic take would bring a smile to people's faces.

He wrote: "Well the lads asked for it! @AdCollin @LiamLawrence07 @RoryJDelap @Higginbotham05 @wilkinson_28  Mr Tony Pulis is here!!

"Hope you all enjoy it if you think it’s good or not! If you’re stuck in the house hopefully this brings a little smile to your faces. Have a good day everyone!"

The post was liked more than 500 times and retweeted by more than 50 users.
