Ex-Nottingham Forest midfielder scores just 20 minutes into his Sheffield United debut

It was a dream start for Ben Osborn at Sheffield United.

The midfielder started life in at the Premier League club with a goal just twenty minutes into his debut against Barnsley on Saturday afternoon.

The 24-year-old completed his move from Nottingham Forest earlier this week as he embarks on a new chapter of his career in England's top flight.

Chris Wilder's side will be targeting survival next season, and while Osborn may have arrived simply to bolster his manager's midfield options for next season, he started the clash at Oakwell at left-wing-back for the Blades.

And he arrived in the penalty area right on cue after twenty minutes to fire John Lundstram's cut-back past Sami Radlinger and into the net.

Osborn's goal opened the scoring in an impressive 4-1 win as he got another 85 minutes under his belt during a summer of change in the player's career.

And now Osborn will, in a fortnight's time, embark on his maiden voyage into the Premier League with a trip to face Bournemouth at the Vitality stadium.
