Ex-Nottingham Forest duo David Johnson and Marlon Harewood to join forces again - for charity

Nottingham Forest’s last 20-goal a season strikers - Marlon Harewood and David Johnson - will join forces again this weekend, at Eastwood FC.

The duo will be joined by fellow ex-Reds Eugen Bopp, Craig Westcarr and former Premier League stars Stiliyan Petrov, Carlton Cole and Hayden Mullins, as two teams fight it out for the Footprints Cup on Saturday.

The team of ex-pros will face a team of soap stars in the game, including many members of the cast of Hollyoaks, such as Nick Pickard, Ashley Taylor-Dawson and Ray Quinn.

The two teams will kick-off at 1pm, with gates opening at 11am for a day that  will include many other family attractions, ranging from bouncy castles and penalty shootouts to face painting and owls.

The event - which raised £2,600 last summer - is being staged to support the Footprints Conductive Education Centre, a local charity that provides help and support for young children with motor learning difficulties or motor development delay and their parents in Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.

Tickets are £5 for over-16s - and Under-16s have free entry - tickets can be purchased online at: Footprints Cup
