Haynesworth, 38, is hospitalized at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tn.
Haynesworth played for the Tennessee Titans, who drafted him 15th overall in 2002 out of Tennessee. In 2009, he signed with the Redskins as an unrestricted free agent, landing a seven-year, $100 million contract. He also spent time with the Buccaneers and Patriots. Haynesworth was a two-timer Pro Bowler.
