Remember Nick Van Exel? If you don’t: He had himself a pretty great NBA career while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets and four other franchises before retiring in 2006.
Now, he’s an assistant coach for the Memphis Grizzlies, and he’s making headlines because he’s just discovered iced coffee and sharing it on Twitter.
Seriously. There is nothing more delightful than this right now, and although I’m not a coffee drinker, I’m fully aware that you can take hot coffee, put it in a cup full of ice and turn it into iced coffee.
Van Exel apparently did not know this. It all began on June 9 with this tweet:
He then got more excited before getting a little mad that he didn’t know about this magical drink before:
And on Thursday, it continued with an offering from Starbucks after drinking Sonic coffee the day before.
We beg of you, Nick: Please keep this going. It’s wonderful.
