Former NBA forward Terry Taylor will replace ex-MVP Jaylen Adams at the Brisbane Bullets for the rest of the NBL season.

Taylor, who played most of his 98 NBA games for the Indiana Pacers, is expected to be available for Friday's clash with high-flying Adelaide.

The 193cm tall Taylor most recently played for the Stockton Kings, the Sacramento Kings' G-League affiliate, averaging 16.5 points and 8.3 rebounds over 47 games.

Taylor joins the Bullets after the rebuilding club parted ways with former NBL champion guard Adams following only 13 games.

Touted as one of the biggest signings in the team's recent history, Adams was accused of poor on-court body language ahead of his departure.

Taylor joins the club as fellow American Javon Freeman-Liberty prepares to return to the court following a mental wellbeing break.

The pair join Lamar Patterson in the Bullets' import trio.

"From the outside looking in, you can see the Brisbane Bullets are building something," Taylor said.

"I'm excited to come in, earn my minutes and add a piece that helps push us forward."

The Bullets (5-10) will be eager for instant impact from Taylor, after four losses from five games heading into the recent FIBA break.
