Ex-model who faked depression to get NHS nose job now 'signed off work due to trolls'

An ex-model who admitted to faking depression to get a nose job on the NHS has now said she has been signed off work 'due to online trolls'.

Carla Bellucci appeared on This Morning last month leaving viewers outraged when she appeared to brag about her "free cosmetic procedure."

But the 37-year-old says that the negative comments she received after going public about her surgery, which is thought to cost around £7,000, gave her anxiety and now has seven weeks off work suffering stress as a result of the social media comments.

Carla, from Borehamwood in Hertfordshire, now reportedly spends her free time at the gym and getting her nails done after being seven weeks off work for suffering from stress as a result of social media comments.

Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous Digital , the mum-of-three said: "People are mean. I just admitted what I did. Now I have to take time off work.

"I will not have anyone criticise me or slag me for being off work and going to the gym and posing up a storm on social media. I find it helps decrease my anxiety."

Doctors notes seen by the publication say Carla is 'not fit to work' because of 'stress and anxiety'.

Despite enjoying her 'free time', Carla adds that she isn't lying about her current condition and has been referred to a counsellor.

During her TV interview earlier this year, Carla said that she had "no regrets", something she still stands by.

"I am going to take what I am entitled to and keep taking," she said.

"I have just as much a right as anyone else to use the system."

After appearing on This Morning with Holly Willougby and Phillip Schofield , a spokesman for the Royal Free London told the show that Carla's claims are "categorically untrue" and said the surgery was done at Chase Farm Hospital following an injury to her nose.

Phil accused Carla of "believing her own lie" after admitting to not really having any mental health issues or difficulties breathing but said she would "take the backlash" over her claims.
