Ex-Missouri captain shows up at Panthers stadium with ‘will pass rush for hot wings’ sign

Former Missouri defensive lineman Jordan Harold started his career as a Division II player before transferring to Mizzou. He earned a walk-on spot by hanging out around the Missouri football facility and asking coaches for a shot with the team.

Harold went on to become a starter and captain for the Tigers by his senior year. It’s been nearly two years since Harold last played college football, but the undrafted free agent is deploying a similar strategy to preserve his NFL dreams:

He’s hanging out at team facilities.

On Monday, Harold showed up to the Carolina Panthers’ Bank of America Stadium with a sign that read, “Will pass rush for hot wings.”

According to Fox 46’s Will Kunkel, the effort did pay off to some degree. The Panthers decided to pass his information on to the team’s scouting department.

Undersized for an NFL lineman, the 6-foot-2, 265-pound Harold recorded 33 tackles (7.5 for loss) and 3 sacks in his senior year at Mizzou.
