Ex-McDonald's worker 'disturbed' after discovering raunchy Ronald McDonald toy

Ronald McDonald is a famous face pretty much everyone will know, thanks to the swaths of kids parties held at McDonald's branches all over the UK and beyond.

He's a family-friendly face who represents the fast-food chain, and yet, one former McDonald's worker has been left feeling disturbed after seeing the iconic clown in a whole new light.

Sy Ewing couldn't quite believe his eyes after he discovered a bizarre Ronald McDonald' figurine in a charity shop, displaying the clown in red Speedos, with a bunch of fries poking out the top. Our eyes simply cannot unsee.

The former staffer took to Facebook to share his distress with others, as some accused Ronald’s hunky look of "burning their eyes" and leaving them traumatised.

"I have no words. Ironically, I used to work at McDonald’s in my teens and this scared me," the 41-year-old wrote.

The fast-food lover previously worked at a McDonald's branch in Swindon, Wiltshire, more than two decades ago, and was immediately transported to his past when he discovered the Ronald toy in Southend, Essex.

He spent a day trawling Southend’s charity shops and said he visited so many he couldn’t remember exactly where he’d seen it.

One baffled Facebook user commented saying the figurine "puts a whole new meaning to the term 'junk food'," while another joked they needed therapy after looking at it.

"I hope those are fries and not some festering condition he’s caught," a third joked, while a fourth commented: "That’s put me right off McDonald's chips, if that’s where he keeps them warm!"

"Is that a box of French fries in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?" another questioned.

Thank goodness they didn't give out these kind of toys in the happy meals - or kids' parties would've been very different.
